The title should be "Musta'arabim" or "Musta'arabi Jews". "Musta'arabim Jews" does not make sense. --Sir Myles na Gopaleen (the da) (talk) 09:16, 16 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There's been no comment on this, so I shall move the article. --Sir Myles na Gopaleen (the da) (talk) 13:16, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Undue weight

This article seems to focus overwhelmingly on the community of Syria, and needs more information about the communities in other countries. --

Distinction

Bassola made a distinction in his description of Jerusalem in the 16th century between Mistaarvim (מסתערבים), whom he also called Morisikim (מוריסקים, Moriscos) and said were "inhabitants of the land since the days of old", and the Maaravyim (מערביים, lit: Westerners) who stem "from Barbary." He did not give a number for their community in Jerusalem, but notes that "four or five" gather together to study. He found twelve households in Nablus, thirty in Kfar Anan, forty in Ein Zaytun, twenty in Sidon and sixty in Damascus. He also mentioned a community in Tripoli. --ארינמל (talk) 22:59, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
