I notice that there are a number of external links on this page, e.g.

  1. Film about 2010 joint exhibitions with Tracey Emin and Mat Collishaw at the Foundling Museum - The Guardian
  2. Paula Rego House of Stories - Paula Rego Museum

Please consider adding this link to an in depth video of Paula Rego telling her life story. The video is freely available on the Web of Stories website (http://webofstories.com):

I have added a link to a video of the artist making a print of one of her drawings at The Curwen Studio, Cambridgeshire. The artist talks about the importance of printmaking in her practice, and the technical process of printing is shown. T.Broch (talk) 15:44, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Further Reading Section

I don't see why there should be a section listing all of the major books about her AND ALSO a Further Reading section...It seems very redundant and a little overwhelming. Just a thought...I'm not going to delete the Further Reading section, but I think that it is not exactly necessary in this particular case.BettyLondon (talk) 17:02, 23 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality

Paula Rego is Portuguese by birth. The article describes her as "Portuguese/British", implying she acquired British nationality by naturalisation, but no source is cited. Unless a source confirming her naturalisation and meeting Wikipedia requirements can be found, the "/British" should be dropped. Insulation2 (talk) 23:14, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

She was a Dame Commander of the British Empire, which is only open to British citizens, so she was definitely a British citizen. Justinc (talk) 11:29, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nomenclature

'This is done to overall show what a female goes through during the processes of life'. Female what? Kangaroo? Sea-horse? A female human is a woman. Can we not restore dignity to Rego and all of us by writing 'woman' rather than 'female'?Katiehawks (talk) 19:16, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Start Class???

Why is this article rated Start Class? Time for an update to B Class I would think. Roundtheworld (talk) 16:20, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the criteria. Wyliepedia @ 04:50, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Seems to qualify. Roundtheworld (talk) 07:20, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No painting images?

How about adding some links or images of her paintings? Zaslav (talk) 01:40, 23 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
