Zuma

There was also an easer egg in Zuma: if you move a few times over all buttons in the main menu, a UFO will appear. I saw someone doing this. Probably someone else could give a better description, so I didn't add it myself to the page. --Bernard François 07:19, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

removed easter eggs section

Wikipedia is not for walkthoughs and easter eggs, so I removed this section. See

Multi player games

I think it should be mention that early this year Pop Cap removed their multiplayer games.ShadowWriter 17:04, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Autobiographical?

The main body of this article sounds like it was written by a PopCap employee.

Should we remove Psychobabble and WordStalk?

PopCap has removed its multiplayer games and unsupport some old games. I think we should remove 2 titles from main page, aren't we?

advertisement?

i agree, this article reads too much like an advertisement against wikipedia guidelines, words like "premium game developer" are not neutral someone should edit the marketing talk out of it —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.53.88.129 (talk) 08:49, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

I've tagged the article with a notability concern because the only independent references provided come from a single (forum-based) source. Interested contributors could review

WP:N and see if they can improve this. Marasmusine (talk) 11:05, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply

Really? Notability concerns for PopCap games? They sold to EA for a billion dollars. That's a notable company. FerociousFennec (talk) 18:57, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy and lawsuit over alleged plagiarism

I have not written much in Wikipedia, but I think this is notable enough for inclusion: PopCap has been accused of copying some of its games from old or obscure puzzle games. One example reference is here: [1]. Could someone more knowledgeable on writing about potentially legally-entangled issue take on this topic? Thanks. That's not copyright violation. Taking ideas and concepts from old games and using them as the foundation for new, different games is a innovation, not theft. FerociousFennec (talk) 18:58, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sprout?

The history section of the article says "The company expanded in 2005 with the acquisition of Sprout Games, a Seattle-based casual games developer", but then says "The Sprout team subsequently moved to Seattle". This is confusing. Were Sprout based in Seattle at the time of their acquisition, or did they move there afterwards? And if they did relocate, where were they from originally? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.42.7.69 (talk) 14:44, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Developer Framework

PopCap is taking down the PopCap framework. http://developer.popcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5829 External links are invalidated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.131.121.65 (talk) 22:08, 28 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The site is taken down, so... 197.87.111.251 (talk) 08:16, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hoopy Entertainment

I was wondering if the history should also mention Hoopy Entertainment [2]. Govvy (talk) 14:13, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Still an Advertisement

The "Games" section (should be called "Typer Shark!" section) is a blatant advertisement. The significance of this game to PopCap isn't clear. The "history" section is probably a better place to spell what their big titles are, when they came out and how they were important (awards, reception, sales, etc). These games are probably going to be Bejeweled and Plants vs Zombies (which the article doesn't even mention). The List of PopCap games needs a home, but I am debating otherwise scrapping the Games section and filling out the history a bit. <> Alt lys er svunnet hen (talk) 19:58, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs updating

I have updated/added to the list of games, but this article definitely needs some work on it.
