New Campus

I have deleted recent revisions concerning the new campus, as these were unencyclopedic and gave opinions without formal sources. Obviously there should be some reference to the new campus, and - if suitable sources exist (local newspapers?) - to any negative student reaction, but unsourced unreferenced and overly personal (non-encyclopedic) comments are likely to be deleted. Mooted merger

"Queen Margaret University has been considering merging with

Napier University as an option to arrest its financial situation - described as potentially "terminal" in an internal paper." - http://www.sundayherald.com/news/heraldnews/display.var.2471795.0.university_may_merge_to_solve_financial_crisis.php
Worthy of a mention? --Mais oui! (talk) 07:46, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

@Mais_oui! Seems a rumour, never heard anything about this. Napier like QMU has sold off many of its nicer looking buildings.-MacRùsgail (talk) 13:28, 11 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Scottish Gaelic wiki page

There's a page about the university in Scottish Gaelic Wikipedia (gd:Oilthigh Bànrigh Mairead), but it isn't connected with the others. Could somebody merge it? Extended Cut (talk) 21:26, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Is it in Musselburgh or Edinburgh?

Well?

Musselburgh, east lothian.
See Scottish government boundary map for East Lothian
And the official qmu address from the qmu website contact us page.
Qmu hasn't been in Edinburgh since it moved from it's old campuses to it's current site in east lothian.
East Lothian council are the local authority area and also the council involved in the new junction and the innovation park.
Qmu uses Edinburgh in its marketing. Thepondhall (talk) 14:43, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
