Having spent very little time in Southeast Asia, it still strikes me that the tough, bitter, cold-loving

Alright, searching has led me to believe that "turnip" is used to mean jicama in Malaysia and Singapore, and I have changed this article accordingly. — Pekinensis 16:53, 9 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
