I won't add this to the main page because I can't verify the intent or find a reference for it, but in the TV show 'Father Ted' there is a visual joke that almost certainly refers to this poem. In 'Kicking Bishop Brennan Up The Arse', Father Ted Crilly, a grey-haired and sheepish fold of one, having kicked said Brennan up the arse in payment of a debt of honour to another priest, is come down on by Bishop Brennan whose cohorts are also a tribe of one when he bellows 'CRILLY!' and surges in billowing robes all gleaming in purple and gold across that Craggy Island field. The contrast between the sheeplike Crilly and the appearance of Brennan is about as obvious a reference as it is possible to get, but sadly I cannot prove it... 86.169.135.48 (talk) 16:51, 31 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
