Firsts

I'm looking at a copy of Bold Women in Alaska History by Marjorie Cochrane right this moment. The chapter on Buchholdt reads pretty much like a carbon copy of this article. The account who contributed most of this article's content has a username matching the name of her daughter. However, that account's last contributions occurred before the book was published, so it's hard to say who's "plaigarizing" who here. Her profile at the Alaska Women's Hall of Fame website states the same. Her obituary and various other sources narrow it down to her being the first Filipino-American woman, however.
