Wasn't he the governor of the Duchy of Belz (1377/1378-1387) for Louis of Hungary? Can anybody confirm? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 18:41, 27 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Quality of English in the article

Some very dodgy English syntax and grammar here which render parts of the article unintelligible to anyone unfamiliar with the subject matter. Article needs to be reworked by an English speaking specialist! 86.138.117.166 (talk) 12:00, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Name

I don't think that Vladislaus variant is good. Why not use the one correct Polish variant, Władysław Opolczyk? Or Władysław II of Opole --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 02:35, 6 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Vladislaus is an English version of the Polish Władysław, and this is a royal name, like Francis I of France, Andrew III of Hungary or Sigismund I the Old. --Norden1990 (talk) 16:09, 7 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
There is more than one English version of Vladislav, that's the problem. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:45, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think this version is the most common, in addition it's a Latinized English form. --Norden1990 (talk) 12:15, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
