Updates needed

I can't find anyone in the history who seems to be reasonably vested in this article in the last couple of years, but it is in desperate need of updating. It's full of outdated statements, broken links, and it's not really been updated with Clark's activities in the last ten years. I'm leaving this notice here in case anyone is interested—otherwise I'll be filing a

Featured article review to have it delisted. --Laser brain (talk) 13:04, 25 June 2018 (UTC)[reply

Additionally, I feel that the lead is not sufficient for a Featured article. It needs some expansion. --Laser brain (talk) 17:34, 11 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

SACEUR Appointment

The article discusses Clark's appointment to SOUTHCOM commander, and then he is suddenly planning for Bosnia. SOUTHCOM is Central and South America. The article needs information regarding his appointment to EUCOM / SACEUR — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.85.186.6 (talk) 14:46, 28 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

WOW! Obvious censorship re: Clark's revelations about "taking out 7 countries in the Middle East"

I think it may be an Admin who did this complete removal of well-sourced ( Guardian ) and obviously noteworthy aspect of Wesley Clark's contributions to society. I just hope this extreme and obvious censorship will not be allowed to stand. Nocturnalnow (talk) 16:54, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think the point about
WP:DUE is the key. Clark has said and done many things; what is notable about this one in the context of his biography? Notice how he walks back the claim in the Salon interview:

"During the Blitzer interview, Clark backed off slightly, conceding that the memo "wasn't [necessarily] a plan. Maybe it was a think piece. Maybe it was a sort of notional concept, but what it was, was the kind of indication of dialogue around this town in official circles ... that has poisoned the atmosphere and made it very difficult for this administration to achieve any success in the region."

It's possible that Clark's claims might be of value in the context of Bush's foreign policy (I'm sure we have an article on that somewhere), have you suggested it there? Schazjmd (talk) 17:17, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply

WP:RS in this context and we must retain this information. I agree that this must go to Foreign policy of the George W. Bush administration and a link to this article must be added here on a section like "See also". Aman Kumar Goel(Talk) 06:45, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply
