Tetrathemis irregularis is a species of dragonfly in the family Libellulidae,[3][4] known as the rainforest elf.[5] It is a tiny to small, slender dragonfly with black and yellow markings.[5] It inhabits rainforest streams in north-eastern Australia[6] and

Aru Islands.[7]
