I go by he/him pronouns. My name isn't Dora. I used to view TV shows (like Dora) daily during my childhood. I've since grown past those years. The Universe decided, a little too early into my life, that I was too old for Dora and introduced me to slasher. At eight, I went from watching a children's animated cartoon series to teenage campers gutted by a goaltender-mask-wearing maniac. Slasher took me into literature and writing; I wrote short horror fiction in my free time. My tutors seem to love some of it. I wouldn't be the kind of person I am today if not for my childhood and the username is my way of paying homage to Saturday night TV programs.

My interest is rather a niche; you could infer from my >20K edits. I mainly improve or create earthquake-related articles. I don't have a formal education qualification in geology or seismology. My interest developed over my slasher years (it had no influence) after feeling a few earthquakes back home in Myanmar in late 2012. I was a pre-teen, primary education kid, so I didn't understand anything, other than "the ground shook". Nevertheless, that was a mind-blowing experience. After gaining a basic idea about plate tectonics and earthquakes in high school geography classes, this interest really started kicking.

I joined Wikipedia in late July 2020 with the intention of making minor edits to the project. I had no plans of becoming an active contributor mainly because I didn't know how editing works. About a month later, I created my first article, an interesting 1946 doubled mainshock earthquake in Myanmar. I followed up by covering additional Burmese earthquake articles (1912 Maymyo, 1839 Ava, 1930 Bago, 1988 Myanmar–India, 1988 Lancang–Gengma, 2003 Taungdwingyi). Since then, I've been very active in the project.
