Information icon Hello, I'm Fdssdf. I noticed that you recently removed some content from South Adelaide Football Club without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Northern Territory Football Club. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.

  • If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
  • If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Flickerd (talk) 05:29, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

V/AFL players on WAFL pages

Hi there, I see that after reverting my carefully constructed list of West Perth players who'd gone onto to play in the V/AFL, with a laundry list of anyone who's played for WP either before, during or after playing in the AFL, you are doing the same to other clubs. Why? What benefit does it give the reader that a category intersection tool can't give? Most are completely non-notable links. And please consider registering and getting a user account. It's actually more anonymous than using your IP address. Regards, The-Pope (talk) 14:56, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with The-Pope here. These lists of players you are adding are indiscriminate and doubling up the purpose of categories, especially in VFL cases where your lists have been mostly full of AFL-listed reserves players. Please seek a consensus with the
WT:AFL project to get a consensus on these lists before continuing. Aspirex (talk) 07:14, 5 September 2016 (UTC)[reply

Please cease your addition of laundry lists of players in state league clubs without gaining consensus, or at least engaging in discussion on the subject. Otherwise I'll have no choice but to report you for disruptive editing. Aspirex (talk) 07:30, 6 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Test edits

Please don't do this [1] and then revert it. (Obviously accidental edits happen, but don't do it intentionally, okay?) There's a preview option if you want to see what something will look like before committing it. NE Ent 12:50, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Use of edit summaries

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! North America1000 04:34, 12 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I see you have tagged a number of football clubs as being like advertisements. I disagree with the tags: to my eye, these articles are more or less encyclopedic in style and content. But I'll hear your reasons, so can you please explain to me the rationale behind these tags in each of these articles. Thus far I can see the tags on Port Melbourne, Northern Blues, Werribee, Williamstown, Swan Districts and Box Hill. Aspirex (talk) 08:48, 14 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
