Happy New Year!
Hello BOZ:

Did you know ... that back in 1885, Wikipedia editors wrote Good Articles with axes, hammers and chisels?

Thank you for your contributions to this encyclopedia using 21st century technology. I hope you don't get any unnecessary blisters.

1980 Games 100

Not sure it's helpful to link to https://archive.org/details/games-20-1980-november/page/54/mode/2up under a title of "Reviews", on all these pages, when the entries for each game are just a couple of sentences giving a very slight summary of the game. A reader hoping to read an old review of a game won't find much information there.

If the Games 100 is a significant accolade, it could be mentioned in the articles' text. Belbury (talk) 19:35, 7 January 2023 (UTC)

Fair enough. Most of them are longer than two sentences. BOZ (talk) 19:40, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
All of the entries on these top 100 lists are extremely short, three sentences at most? I would not call them "reviews" when linking to them, as the opinions expressed (the 1982 entry for Sorry! is a sentence of straightforward description and The game is never dull, and is never decided until the last play.) don't provide much genuine insight in why someone thought the game was good or bad.
Really a lot of these classic games could use a reception section that quotes contemporary reviews as text. But from the quotations I'm seeing I don't think the Games 100 is useful for that. Belbury (talk) 09:12, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
Might be useful just as a notation then? BOZ (talk) 15:27, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
Not as a bare entry like that. That turns it into a magazine index, which Wikipedia is not. In a similar vein, just listing magazine titles and issue numbers that contain reviews is not appropriate article content either. If it's a review that you think should be summarized in a reception section, park it on the talk page. (And be judicious in quoting reviews. Excessive quotations aren't appropriate either, and can cross into copyright violation territory if they're too long.) oknazevad (talk) 23:58, 15 January 2023 (UTC)

Yes, I've had many talks with this user and their low effort article creations. They generally stop for a while and then start it up again after a while when they believe no one is watching anymore. I'm honestly at a loss. Sergecross73 msg me 20:00, 28 January 2023 (UTC)

@
WP:TEND. In merely the example of the "Reviews" spam with unexplained sources and malformed citations and date formats, those should ALL be auto reverted on sight by anyone and with your blessing, with him ordered to stop everything and do it himself now. I've seen countless times when you and other fine admins set a behavioral criteria goal or a categorical sanction, with increasing schedule of blocks unto indef. Even over infinitely less behavioral dysfunction, like refusing to write edit summaries or whatever example of non-compliance. Why not this one? How does he get an exemption from all rules? This is not incompetemcy but deliberately tendentious vexation. Ya know he was desysopped over this and extreme copyright violation? More than eight hundred articles were created and deleted—not even just merged, redirected, or salvaged but deleted! The precedent is already ironclad completed. https://wikipediocracy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12452Smuckola(talk)

I was not quite sure what to make of this open hostility on my talk page when I came home late from a really nice day out. If adding links to reviews in this way that I have found is a bad idea, then I will stop immediately. I had hoped it was helpful to people who wanted to improve the articles. In whatever time I have to spare for it, I will instead go back and add the reviews to the articles myself. As far as article creation goes, for the past year I have been focused on cleaning any potential copyvios from articles that I have worked on, and have therefore curtailed the majority of my article creation activity to focus on that; this is likely to continue for the foreseeable future. BOZ (talk) 08:36, 29 January 2023 (UTC)

I've started working on this, with some simple ones to do from these "Games 100" lists as it is late at night for me here, and will hope to find more time to continue soon. BOZ (talk) 10:51, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
Unless it's a one-off thing here or there, like some sort of last ditch effort to save an article at AFD, you should generally either be actually implementing it into articles, or leaving it on talk pages as a "ref idea" for someone else to add someday. Just copy/pasting across a ton of articles borders on
WP:NOTDIRECTORY territory. I don't believe it calls for a block (Smuckola can take you to ANI if he disagrees) but I am disappointed to be having this sort of conversation yet again. Sergecross73 msg me
14:06, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
Understood, thank you, and my apologies for any difficulties I had inadvertently created for anyone. I won't be creating or adding to any more "reviews" sections on articles, and I will instead continue to work the sources into the articles as time permits me. BOZ (talk) 14:54, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
I noticed you added a "Reviews" section to the Mafia article today. The book you link to there seems a great source, but a "Reception" section above the footnotes would be better for the article than a "Reviews" section below them. You could include some summarised quotations about why people like or dislike the game, rather than just linking to an off-site (and possibly impermanent) copy of the book.
Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Video_games#Layout might be the closest thing Wikipedia has to a style guide for games articles, and it does suggest a detailed "Reception" section rather than a list of links as "Reviews". Belbury (talk) 19:17, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
Yeah that's fair, I'll go ahead and fix that up. BOZ (talk) 19:59, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
Brilliant, thank you. Belbury (talk) 20:24, 30 December 2023 (UTC)

Tip regarding sources

Hi BOZ! :) If you are searching for sources for games(post 1995, reviews etc) the best place to search is the company websites. Timur9008 (talk) 19:17, 31 January 2023 (UTC)

Good idea, thanks! Some of the companies will still have websites, I imagine. BOZ (talk) 19:31, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
Web archive is an even better idea, lots of the websites should be there. :) BOZ (talk) 19:34, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
Yes that's what I've been doing [1]:) Timur9008 (talk) 19:42, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
Oh wow, that's impressive! I like to do little projects like that myself. I've gone through the first 34 issues on Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Reference library/Games for example. :) BOZ (talk) 19:47, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
Cool :)
I should note I do check every single URL under these websites and it's time exhausting. But in the end it's worth it. Timur9008 (talk) 20:05, 31 January 2023 (UTC)

Regarding Sabra (character)

Hi @BOZ,

I am sorry to disturb you, but there is an editor who keeps removing the "Accolades" subsection from Marvel's Sabra. They always come back and remove the subsection after I restored it.

I was wondering if you know how to handle this situation ? Because they seem to enjoy vandalizing the page. Higher Further Faster (talk) 10:49, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

I wouldn't go so far as to call it vandalism, but at this point both of you are involved in what is called an edit-war and should disengage. Editors have different opinions on the usefulness of listicles; some think they are great, some think they are worthless, and there is no sitewide consensus on how they should be used. Perhaps start a discussion with the editor on their talk page, or on the article's talk page, maybe ask if they actually looked at each one of these to see if they feel that any of them are worth keeping, or if they simply dismissed them all without looking at them? Or is their issue primarily relating to the term "accolade" and maybe there is a compromise solution that doesn't involve removing them all? BOZ (talk) 14:08, 16 February 2023 (UTC)

Moving a draft

Hey there BOZ, i hope you're doing well pal! Hey, i recently finished this draft so, could you help me turn it from draft into a main article (Draft:Magical Drop III => Magical Drop III). Thanks in advance :D Roberth Martinez (talk) 00:58, 25 February 2023 (UTC)

Sure! I may not be able to do that directly anymore, but there is a special trick that I use. :) BOZ (talk) 01:09, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
@BOZ:Hey there buddy! How're you doing? Look, i need help moving this draft that i just recently finished into a main article (Draft:Panzer Dragoon Mini => Panzer Dragoon Mini). Thanks in advance :D Roberth Martinez (talk) 20:04, 4 June 2023 (UTC)
I put in a request for a history merge, since the original redirect did have some content under it. That may take a day or two for someone to complete it, but hopefully it should be done soon. :) BOZ (talk) 05:43, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
@BOZ:Hey there buddy! How're you doing? Look, i was making some redirect pages for a Jaguar game that had a special edition (taking NBA Jam T.E. as a basis) but i did one whose title does not make sense (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Protector:_S.E.&redirect=no), because this does not make grammatical sense at all (: S.E.) and i will admit that was a gaffe by my part. Can you help me with deleting that particular redirect? Thanks! Roberth Martinez (talk) 00:31, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
Hey there! I don't have the ability to delete pages anymore, but were you trying to do something else that I can help you with? I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding. BOZ (talk) 01:57, 30 July 2023 (UTC)

Hmm, unfortunately I don't have the ability to move pages over an existing redirect anymore, but since the redirect has substantial history (a previously existing article was redirected) I would rather see the edit histories get merged together. Let me see what I can do. :) BOZ (talk) 02:30, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

I copied the text from here as added by User:Sariel Xilo, so hopefully there were no copyright issues in that. BOZ (talk) 04:06, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
Some of that text came from Fandom (and possibly others), according to the report on this page. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:09, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
Those websites may have copied it from us, as our page looked like this in 2008, which is the version I temporarily restored to. I would check the edit histories of the other wikis to see when they added their text. BOZ (talk) 04:12, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
Possibly. To be clear, I didn't revert you, I just saw that report and checked it out and noticed you had already been reverted, so I just let you know. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:15, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
I reverted myself, because I didn't intend to keep the page at this time, I was just adding some text for the future in case we find enough sources to restore it permanently. Thank you though, I do appreciate the heads up. BOZ (talk) 04:18, 9 March 2023 (UTC)
My bad. I didn't pay attention to the usernames in the history. ~Anachronist (talk) 04:34, 9 March 2023 (UTC)

Hey, awesome. :) I don't doubt that Sushi Go is worth working on. BOZ (talk) 15:13, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
Sorry for the late response. There's five mentions here but it's mostly listings. This book apparently also has a couple of mentions that briefly explain the game's rules and listing, but I'm not confident that it's
WP:SIGCOV as I can only see the preview. So is this which only has two mentions that appears to be brief and gameplay related. Likewise, 1, 2 also appears fairly brief and are very likely not SIGCOV. All of the reviews are from non-RS, though I'm not sure if there are other offline magazines or articles in another language. VickKiang (talk)

Thanks for letting me know, hopefully @Piotrus will see something worthwhile for this one. BOZ (talk) 08:01, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
@VickKiang For Sushi Go, I see a review in Rebel Times #113 [4], that plus NYT should be enough. (There is a ton of other reviews but mostly blogs and like, see a list in right menu at https://www.rebel.pl/gry-planszowe/sushi-go-edycja-polska-103709.html#recenzje). So I suggest REFUND. I can add info from the Polish magazine review linked - ping me if you get this undeleted. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:31, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for improving the article by adding reviews to show notability rather than just reverting the PROD. Can you perhaps do a plot summary while you're at it? Kavaki, the Ram-Lord

Hello

goliath. Should we add him (and the other goliath deities from Races of Stone) to the List of Dungeons & Dragons deities (and where there)? I want to say a very big "thank you" for your help getting the Silencer article fully undeleted. (Although, after seeing the dirt on the talk page, maybe not. But, alas, it is what it is.) Honestly, as much as I like contributing to Wikipedia, I don't like making big edits for fear of wasting my time. I've seen too much whacked as original research, no matter how well cited it may be (because, well, writing anything can be considered original research, in a way, and if a fan/gatekeeper doesn't like what it reveals... goodbye!). Thus, it was a huge relief to see someone like you go to bat for this undelete.

I stumbled upon this game just two months ago and it seemed worthy of some of my time to do a proper article for it. That, however, turned into a crazy big task as the rabbit hole opened up into all things connected to the would-be Silencer article. That is, a rewrite of

WON.net, a crazy-hard list of all WON-enabled titles (and the various problems with each title in that list), and adding an article for the publisher, Mind Control Software
, if possible.

Anyhow, after two months of near-full-time work on this, writing ~225 citations (with the help of VSCode and my own citation code snippets [to be shared soon])... I'm done for now (even though I maybe have 100 more citations sitting in a spreadsheet to add among all the WON games). Time to get back to writing games instead of article about them. Why do I do this to myself?

I'm a bit disappointed the Silencer article only got a C rating but, I also get it, there's just not much that can be found about it's development (and, admittedly, some of what I added pushes the boundaries of fluff, finding significance only in its context and not of itself). I scraped the internet, archives, and online libraries clean and still just barely passed the notability tests. When, in my opinion, this game is mostly notable for its below-the-radar notability and lack of provable notability. Sigh. There are weird holes in Wikipedia for reasons like this one as well as other similarly-weird reasons (such as the lack of news coverage around WON2 -- possibly due to shying away from legally-difficult stories with Sierra and/or Valve -- I had to look to foreign works to find notability on that topic). juanitogan (talk) 17:48, 5 May 2023 (UTC)

Thanks again for your contribution, and best of luck with your gaming. :) BOZ (talk) 17:52, 5 May 2023 (UTC)

I'll see what I can do, but that may take a lot of time that I don't really have to spare. BOZ (talk) 08:14, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
I would also say that the potential redirect article should probably be reworked and reorganized before such a campaign of section-redirects is undertaken. BD2412 T 20:17, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
This is my reply to @BOZ: and @BD2412:. That would be a good idea. For example, I can't find the Gorgimera under any of the sections of the page that it currently redirects to. "Other reviews" sections

not indexes. If you find a review you want to incorporate into the reception section later but don't have time for now it goes on the talk page, not in the article! Slightly related, and with respect to this edit: evidently you can see the review; could you please fill out the rest of its bibliographic details (the title of the review, and the author if there is a credited author)? Similarly here. (In both cases I do not have access to the relevant pages of the magazine through archive.org.) Thanks, JBL (talk) 19:45, 9 July 2023 (UTC)

To my detractors: you may not like that I've added reviews in the actual article, but it does lead to results often enough: [5] If that is still a problem, I have a proposal right now at

WP:VPP that would be almost as good - possibly even better - for visibility than listing the unused reviews in the article itself. Wish me luck. :) BOZ (talk
) 16:01, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

Two more examples of this working: [6] and [7] and [8]. BOZ (talk) 20:41, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

Interestingly, more books of his have entries on pl wiki than here. But pl wiki entries are just plot summaries, nominated for AfD there, and I don't know if I can save them - pl wiki doesn't respect reviews much as sources for notability for books, weirdly. Hmm, that is weird. Where do you get better reception for a product than a review of it? Anyway, I added links to a few reviews of Anvil that I found on IA. You can see what else they have for other books, and/or see if the fine folks at Wikipedia:WikiProject Resource Exchange/Resource Request can help you find them. BOZ (talk) 03:29, 28 July 2023 (UTC)

Please add to your watchlist

Luke Gygax, a BLP recently created and edited entirely by one very sleepy account. I have no evidence, but this looks coi-y. Please watch. Thanks for your eyes. BusterD (talk) 10:51, 28 August 2023 (UTC)

Yep, I added it to Wikipedia:WikiProject Dungeons & Dragons/watchlist which I keep track of daily. BOZ (talk) 11:24, 28 August 2023 (UTC)

Help with List of Bethesda Softworks video games

Hi BOZ! Was wondering can you help expand a lot of the articles at List of Bethesda Softworks video games?(the game's mentioned there). Bethesda seems to be a hot topic right now.

I've been focusing on Development sections mainly(and I'm still finding new stuff) but maybe you can help with gameplay sections. Timur9008 (talk) 07:03, 4 September 2023 (UTC)

Hi there! :) That sounds like a massive project. Are there any in particular that you would want me to take a look at? BOZ (talk) 07:05, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
) 07:10, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
OK cool, and yeah no gameplay at all on those. :) I'll see if I can get at least a sentence or two on those in the near future. BOZ (talk) 15:19, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
Thanks! Timur9008 (talk) 16:17, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
Can you do a couple more? Skip Barber Racing (video game), Hockey League Simulator 2, PBA Tour Bowling 2001 + IHRA Drag Racing series. Timur9008 (talk) 12:11, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
Sure thing, I will try to find some time to work on those today or tomorrow. :) BOZ (talk) 13:37, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
I did the first three. That fourth one is a series article, so I don't know if gameplay sections are common on those, but that would probably require more research than I honestly have time for. BOZ (talk) 22:48, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
Sorry I meant IHRA Drag Racing games.(all the games mentioned there). Thanks for doing the first three :) Timur9008 (talk) 05:50, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
OK gotcha. That's a lot of work, so maybe another time. :) BOZ (talk) 11:04, 11 October 2023 (UTC)
Thanks! Timur9008 (talk) 14:06, 12 October 2023 (UTC)

Probably not for your list :)

Re:
Draft:Undead (role-playing games)

If you would prefer not to have the article on the expanded subject, please merge it back to the D&D title. BD2412 T 18:36, 12 September 2023 (UTC)

Oh no, I like your new draft just fine, it's a topic with some potential. BOZ (talk) 18:38, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
Why separate the current draft from the edit history, then? BD2412 T 21:44, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
I was thinking it would be a good idea to have the old edit history as a potential article on just the D&D version of undead, in case sources can be found over time to restore it as an article about creatures in that specific game, leaving your draft of undead in all RPGs as its own topic which can be expanded further and most likely moved into article space before much longer. BOZ (talk) 21:49, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
There are a few additional different classes of monsters that I think have that kind of potential, like giants and dragons as well. Those both currently have D&D-focused articles, but articles on their inclusion in other games feels like a worthwhile thing to examine as well. BOZ (talk) 21:54, 12 September 2023 (UTC)
Sorry for taking so long to circle back to this. I do not think that we should have separate articles on Undead (role-playing games) and Undead (Dungeons & Dragons). Either we have one on the general class, with substantial focus on D&D, or we have one on D&D, with a substantial section on its influence and comparability with other RPGs. BD2412 T 21:45, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
I understand what you mean, but possibly and hopefully one day in the future we would be able to have both. Who knows. :) Meanwhile, I hope to see
Draft:Undead (role-playing games) as a published article one day. :) BOZ (talk

TCG

Thank you for writing the development section. Do you think you can also review the article's GAN as well? Wingwatchers (talk) 02:43, 14 September 2023 (UTC)

For the Pokémon card game? Thanks for asking, but I've never done a GAN review before and honestly do not really have the time to look at it. BOZ (talk) 03:10, 14 September 2023 (UTC)

Fun reading and random musings

On Polish rpgs. Sadly, the one ref I added to pl:Strefa śmierci is all I could find, and I doubt you can help since it's Polish. Probably not notable enough for a stand-alone article, although I'll probably let it leave on pl wiki for now (I liked the setting when I was a teen :P). Hopefully more sources will appear and discuss it one day... Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:10, 20 September 2023 (UTC)

Edit notice

Hi BOZ. It looks like you added the new template to the articles themselves. Can you self-revert? I'll help with the next step. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 18:43, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

@Firefangledfeathers, done! And thanks. :) BOZ (talk) 18:48, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
Ok. I added an expiry parameter to the new template for about a month from now. This is something we should change if the test goes well. I then created an edit notice for Air Warrior II and added the template. Can you try editing Air Warrior II and let me know if the edit notice is displaying properly before I add it to the rest? Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 18:59, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
@Firefangledfeathers, I see the edit notice!  :) BOZ (talk) 19:13, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
Ok. I think I got them all. Firefangledfeathers (talk / contribs) 19:21, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
Excellent, and thank you! I also see it when I click on a section to edit it as well. BOZ (talk) 19:22, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

Talk page for a redirect

Hi Boz,

You manually reverted some of my edits to turn the talk page of redirect to centralized talk page of its target. These pages are chosen because they haven't be used at all and their only edit is from anonymous user. Even if such a talk page contains a WikiProject template, it could be easily found at their target after its conversion. Please share your opinion about this.

Thanks,

I do keep track of redirects on certain WikiProjects and therefore I do find it helpful to have the project tag directly on the redirect's talk page. BOZ (talk) 02:50, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
Also, in some cases the redirect was formerly an article that could be rebuilt, or is a redirect that could be built into an article. Yes, the project tag could always be added back in those cases, but people don't always remember to do this so I feel it would be better to just keep it there. BOZ (talk) 02:56, 23 October 2023 (UTC)
OK. In cases the redirect has been tagged by WikiProject banners, I will tag it at the top with {{

Howard the Duck

In the Ultimate Spider-Man episode Carnage, Howard the Suck makes a cameo appearance in a fantasy. Can this be on this page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:18D:4700:72A0:CD62:C79F:684F:328B (talk) 11:10, 4 December 2023 (UTC)

Howard the Suck? Well, if it's just a fantasy sequence and not an actual appearance of the character, I can't think of a reason why it would need to be mentioned on Howard's article. BOZ (talk) 12:26, 4 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi BOZ! :) I was wondering can you split the stuff regarding the cancelled/unreleased Road to Moscow game from Arsenal Publishing from the 1984 Road to Moscow article into its own article? (and rename the 1984 article) Found two more sources BTW [13] (Interview) and another one [14] Timur9008 (talk) 17:33, 15 December 2023 (UTC)

Hmm, I'm not too sure about how to write articles about unreleased games... what would be the steps to do that? Or, if you were to start one in Draft or User space, then I would be happy to move it to article space when you think it's ready? BOZ (talk) 17:58, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
Well its mostly about gameplay (which you are best at and you can created) and development stuff (I will hadle this) and that's it.(plot we can avoid). Example would be the The 10th Planet or Breach (cancelled video game). I guess the names would be Road to Moscow (cancelled video game) and Road to Moscow (1984 video game). Timur9008 (talk) 18:40, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
OK, I might have some free time over the weekend to look into this. BOZ (talk) 19:02, 15 December 2023 (UTC)

Hello BOZ, we need experienced volunteers.
  • New Page Patrol
is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles. We could use a few extra hands on deck if you think you can help.
  • Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; Wikipedia needs experienced users to perform this task and there are precious few with the appropriate skills. Even a couple reviews a day can make a huge difference.
  • Kindly read
    the tutorial
before making your decision (if it looks daunting, don't worry, it basically boils down to checking CSD, notability, and title). If this looks like something that you can do, please consider joining us.
  • If you would like to join the project and help out, please see the

    .
  • If you have questions, please feel free to drop a message at the reviewer's
    discussion board
    .
  • Cheers, and hope to see you around.

Greetings, Wondering if you could add a bit more detail to this board game article? (you created on 25 March 2018) In order to de-orphan, the article can be added to List of board games, but I am clueless about this game's classification, so hoping you can help. Regards, JoeNMLC (talk) 15:33, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

I'll take a look, thanks! It is definitely a wargame per [15] so I will add it to List of board wargames. BOZ (talk) 15:44, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

Category:Mystara has 105 pages and no subcategories, unlike other ones from DnD settings. Probably needs something like Category:Forgotten Realms books? Thought I'd let you know :) Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 05:13, 24 December 2023 (UTC)

Maybe, it's a bit of a tricky situation. Not everything for the Basic D&D game is necessarily part of the Mystara setting. I'm not quite sure how to sort that out. We might need a category for Basic D&D supplements, and then put that under the Mystara category? BOZ (talk) 07:05, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
Perhaps. What's the difference between sourcebook and supplement? I see the terms mixed at
WT:RPG if you think it merits some wider discussion (otherwise I may propose renaming all categories with supplements to sourcebooks). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here
08:30, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
Supplement is a more general term for anything that adds material to an existing RPG, while sourcebook is a more specific term for certain types of supplements. Not everything in the D&D sourcebook category should actually be considered a sourcebook. BOZ (talk) 08:33, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
