Information icon Thank you for contributing to the article Zina. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, wikis, personal websites, and websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight. These sources may express views that are widely acknowledged as pushing a particular point-of-view, sometimes even extremist, being promotional in nature, or relying heavily on rumors and personal opinions. One of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. If you require further assistance, please look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse. I would advise you to self-revert your recent edit. As an editor, you have the responsibility to discuss any disputed edit and try to gain consensus, instead of repeatedly re-inserting it. Wikipedia is based on collaboration. IslamOnline and Islamhouse.com is not self published source, they are established governmental fatwa websites of Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Bengali editor (talk) 14:14, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Precisely what makes them unreliable. They're not independent and secondary scholarly sources. See

Islamic religious rulings are "dependant" on Quran and Hadith, it's enough to be secondary, those you call independent sources, the western scholarly publishes, are not basically "independent" actually, they see everything in the mirror of western ideologies, state-run national religious authority based preaching publishes are enough reliable to take place on wikipedia . Bengali editor (talk) 16:35, 6 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please note that if you continue to openly declare that you do not accept Wikipedia's rules (as you are doing here regarding sources) and to revert carefully explained edits (as you just did at
not here to collaboratively create a neutral encyclopedia based on reliable sources, but have some other agenda and should therefore be blocked. UrielAcosta (talk) 14:02, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply

You've been edit warring in various articles, particularly Zina, with User:StephenMacky1 and User:UrielAcosta and others--you did it long before you got your account (from IPs 202.134.10.137 and 202.134.9.150), and you are still diong it. I have to tell you, you need to stop doing this disruption (edit warring), and you need to discuss this on the article talk page if you wish to make progress. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 15:21, 9 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Bangiya Sahitya Parishat. Please STOP adding the Charyapada template to apparently unrelated articles. Drmies (talk) 00:41, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Dobhashi into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. '''[[User:CanonNi]]''' (talk|contribs) 02:56, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection
.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Replaceable non-free use File:Ved Prakash Upaddhay.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Ved Prakash Upaddhay.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

I can not understand why I have been blocked, someone should talk to me before blocking me. Can you explain me what is the reason behind blocking me? Bengali editor (talk) 22:57, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have been identified as a
sockpuppet of the blocked user Lazy-restless. You may not edit the encyclopedia while you have been blocked under any account. If you wish to appeal this block you may do so on the user talk page of your original account. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 23:38, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply

I don't even know who the lazy restless is. What is the relation between him and me? 202.134.10.134 (talk) 23:45, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
See the sock puppet investigation here. The evidence is overwhelming. If you ever wish to be unblocked my first piece of advice is to avoid socking, wait at least 6 months and request an unblock per
WP:SO. You will need to explain in detail what you want to work on, and also that you understand why you were blocked. Socking, especially recently, will count against any unblock request. Denying the obvious will also kill any chance you have of being unblocked. You are also not allowed to edit using an IP address. Any further discussion of this should occur on the talk page user Lazy-restless. -Ad Orientem (talk) 23:51, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply
