Colin Kâzım-Richards
Hi CanbekEsen. I see that you recently edited the article
Colin Kâzım-Richards. I was wondering if you could help me out with the article. It says that Colin Kâzım-Richards' "father is Antiguan and his mother is a Turkish Cypriot." To be eligible for the Turkish national football team, he would need a Turkish passport. Do you know if Turkish-Cypriots automatically get Turkish citizenship, or did Kâzım-Richards have to apply for it? AecisBrievenbus 20:25, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply

Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline
is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our

Blocked
You have been blocked for edit-warring at Fenerbahçe S.K. for a period of thirty-six hours. To contest this block, please reply here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} along with the reason you believe the block is unjustified, or email the blocking administrator or any administrator from this list. -- tariqabjotu 20:59, 18 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).
I believe my block is unjustified because I believe I was not edit warring. I've been working on this page a lot lately, and users continue to remove players or add players that are rumored to have joined the club. I have not added anything unconstructive to the page or removed anything, unlike the numerous anons who have been adding false transfers or removing content (the same anons that are not blocked). I was just doing what it is Wikipedians should do at the sight of vandalism. After seeing my case at
uses in his report was not actually a revert. If you look at the history, you'd see I made numerous edits, and then removed the two players that were continuesly removed in reverts 1, 3, 5, 6, as these players officially moved on to clubs and they weren't just rumours. Now tell me, with all these edits from anons and users, if I'm only allowed three reverts every twenty-hours, what should I do with the edits after my three reverts? Do I just let untrue, uncited, unneeded information there so people can read it? Or do I leave it there, put it on some admin noticeboard until some admin responds (which, in that time period countless persons could've read the false information)? This three-revert rule should be looked over.
UPDATE: As you can see by this edit [1], another anon added that Ronaldo joined the team. But of course it will just sit there, untouched.
Decline reason:
Clear violation of the
WP:RFP. If you agree to follow the 3RR I'm sure you could be unblocked, now that you know how to handle these problems better. Mangojuicetalk 21:11, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

The newsletter is back! Many things have gone on during the past few months, but many things have not. While the assessment drive helped revitalize the assessment department of the project, many other departments have received no attention. Most notably: peer review and our "workgroups". A day long IRC meeting has been planned for October 13th, with the major focus being which areas of the project are "dead", what should our goals be as a project, and how to "revive" the dead areas of our project. Contribute to the discussion on the the new channel (see below)
We decided to deliver this newsletter to all project members this month but only those with their names down here will get it delivered in the future.
This is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue. Any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to any of the undersigned or post news on the next issue's talk page

I apologize
Between December 14, 2005 and June 7, 2007, I vandalized Wikipedia under my previous username (YechielMan) and under various
alternate accounts
.
I recently reviewed the contribution logs of all the accounts and IP addresses that I can recall having used. My goal was to identify all of the intentionally harmful edits I caused, and to apologize to the individual users who reverted those edits, or warned me, or blocked me.
Hence, I apologize to you and to all of the following users:
Adam Bishop, Amarkov, Antandrus, AntiVandalBot, Bdj (Badlydrawnjeff), Conk 9, CanbekEsen, DLand, Downwards, Eagle 101, Ericbronder, Gogo Dodo, High on a tree, Hut 8.5, Interiot, Jayjg, Jrwallac, Kingboyk, Kuru, Noclip, Patrick Berry, PFHLai, PhantomS, Pollinator, Rachack, Ranma9617, Rx StrangeLove, SlimVirgin, Tfrogner, TommyBoy, Vary, Woohookitty, Zzuuzz, and some anonymous IPs. (I also reverted one edit myself after it went unnoticed for three weeks.)
Thank you for maintaining the integrity of Wikipedia against everyone who has attacked it, including my old self.
If you wish to respond, please do so at my talk page.

Hi, I crossed some of your pictures, and I am concerned by the licensing tags you put on the go related ones, you seem to have GFDL-tagged images that clearly are fair use (Image:Ishida-akira.jpg for example), some are tagged as Public Domain without justification (Image:Chenyaoye.jpg) and some asserted that the image could only be used non commercially. In this state, I don't think most would pass a deletion discussion. Since I don't want to go rampant on all the go related pictures, I prefer talking to you before starting the processes. File source problem with File:Takao-shinji.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Takao-shinji.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on
