Edit-warring on Mitch McConnell

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Multiple issues

You appear to have just put a notice on the page of User:Snoog on his Talk page. This appears to be his 3rd incident over five days, first with Peter Navarro, then Mitch McConnell as you have documented, and now on another page he is editing. Did you see this on his Talk page? CodexJustin (talk) 16:53, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for alerting me to these issues. I didn't pay any attention to his page other than inserting the warning on edit warring yesterday.EdJF (talk) 18:28, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Deceptive edit summary and whitewashing

The editor EdJF removed RS content about how Esper directed overseas military commanders not to make any decisions to protect their troops without giving advance notice and receiving approval from the White House, with the goal of not contradicting messaging from the President. The editor stated the text was not supported by the cited source, which is a falsehood.[1]

Yes, multiple. Although Walker was born in Washington DC, the extended Walker family was from Scranton which is where John Walker was "raised".[1] BTW, what about the other 22? EdJF (talk) 22:08, 16 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Improving the General Dynamics Wikipedia article

Hi

WP:Virginia and like military topics. I'm currently working on the General Dynamics Wikipedia article, there is room for improvement on a few sections. I have a COI with General Dynamics, so I will not edit the article myself but will present conceptual improvements on the talk page. To start, I rewrote the lead paragraph to clarify what the company does. Here is my proposed version. Any thoughts on this? --Chefmikesf (talk) 21:49, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Patrick Mahomes. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Your changes have been reverted multiple times now. If you continue there is a strong possibility you will be partially blocked from the article.Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 13:44, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
