Thanks for uploading Image:Pc-load-letter.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. Greetings!! I'd like to welcome you to WikiProject Numismatics. Anything you see that can be improved upon, go for it, anything that is lacking add it, anything that is all together absent, please fill us in. There are quite a few knowledgeable people of both numismatics and wikipedia, in this little project, so don't hesitate to ask. Please be sure to read through the whole of the project pages, as we have just recently started using some of them.
You already have the banner on your page, so no need for the middle part that I took out. :)
- Hope this gets you off and contributing to the little project that makes the world go round. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask either me, or Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Numismatics. See ya :) Joe I 02:58, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

- Hello Keeleysam,
- Just to inform you about a mistake the presidential seal, when svg is rendered from the browsers I tried. Initially the vector, in svg format, was uploaded by Fizan. After uploading he found that svg version doesn't render as expected. He then posted about it, requesting to remove the backround, on this talk page. Since there are rendering issues with the svg, I uploaded the png (with transparent background). The version of svg uploaded by you looks almost how-its-suppose-to-be, except the banner on eagle's beak, above the head. --Oblivious 17:26, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

Yahoo! logo
Hi there. I just wanted to give you a heads up that I returned the logo to purple. See [4]. The company's official logo has been purple for years. They have continued to use the reddish one on the front page, and they've given various reasons over the years (most common of which it's the most familiar). Aside from the front page, however, purple is pretty much always used now (even with products, not just corporate-related issues). Justen 20:40, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
PNG, right shade of purple SVG, dull shade of purple - Hi again. I've yet to see any consensus on the epic SVG v. PNG battle (though I personally lean towards favouring the former). However, if you want to take a look real quick at the PNG, compared to the SVG. Can you see them side by side? The shade of purple you're using is much duller than the official colour. I can try and get a Pantone and convert it to RGB if that'd help. Thoughts, please? Justen 02:31, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- As a side note, the reason Yahoo! used red was because they couldn't get a shade of purple they liked until they came up with the shade you see in the PNG. Funny, no? :) Justen 02:35, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
- Regarding the colours. I did, actually. Did you convert to RGB before saving the file as SVG? I bet the AR is CMYK by default. The RGB for the purple should be 89, 44, 113. I'm seeing 79, 50, 83 from your current SVG. Justen 04:57, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
![](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/ee/NonFreeImageRemoved.svg/200px-NonFreeImageRemoved.svg.png)
![](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/ee/NonFreeImageRemoved.svg/210px-NonFreeImageRemoved.svg.png)
- See the difference in the colours? The png is truest. The "new svg," the one in the middle, is the best I could do with SVG to get it to match. The "old svg" was yours. Given the colour issues, I'm setting the article's logo back to the png, until we can get an svg that more accurately represents the purple. Please message me if you find one that works, and I'll try to compare. Justen 11:50, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

This image has been orphaned because it does not accurately reflect the logo used by the airline. The ATA logo as used on their website and aircraft contains color gradients, as reflected in the PNG logo that has replaced this one, Image:ATA Airlines logo 2001.png. SVG Conversion
As part of an effort to clean up Category:Images_that_should_be_in_SVG_format, I recently converted this image to an SVG. I noticed that you posted a message on the image talk page asking if an SVG could be produced. I also noticed that you posted the said message in 2006, more that a year ago, so you may not care anymore, but I thought you should know.
The images in question look like this:

:The message I'm referring to is here: Image_talk:Tj-loco-vec.gif. It shouldn't be too hard to add the lines around the various shapes, I'll upload a new version soon. --Dave the Rave (DTR)talk 17:50, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
- Forget that, the new version is better. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. --Dave the Rave (DTR)talk 21:40, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

YAHOO!
I really think that a red Yahoo! symbol is better than none at all. The new color is proven red, but you insist it is purple. Though it may have been purple many years ago, you still don't show the purple one on there, there is instead no picture at all.
Also, it is like searching "Windows" and seeing the Windows 3.1, 98, 2000, ME, XP, etc. rather than the newer symbol, which is shown.
And we do not show a screen-shot of Windows XP or one of the other previous systems, but a picture of Windows Vista.
Now if there was no picture at all on the Windows wiki page, would we keep it with none and if someone were to add a picture of Vista and new Windows symbol would you delete it?
You make a measly argument, and I believe the red logo is what it is, and if it is not then at least have the purple rather than nothing!!!

Welcome to the August edition of the U2 WikiProject Newsletter. As you may have noticed, we are now doing themed newsletters. This one (if you haven't already guessed) is How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb. Every month the newsletter will have a different theme. There will also be a special edition when the new album is released. Also thanks to Neranei for some of the U2 news.
We have two new members since the start of the month! They are MC . We now have 38 members!
More info from the album page here.
Last month's newsletter incorrectly stated that there were 34 members. This should've been 36. Also, under the "U2 News" section, line 3, instead of saying most recent single it should've said most recent song (this has since been corrected). The editors sincerely apologize for any misunderstandings this may have caused. The correct version of the July newsletter can be found here.
All members of the U2 Wikiproject please note that voting for the next collaboration of the fortnight starts on THE 12TH OF AUGUST. Please visit the collaboration department for more details. |

Hiya! i've noticed that you uploaded Image:ABIT Logo.svg. How did you get it to show up in the image page, and the article page? I can't get my SVG image that i uploaded (Image:American Broadcasting Company Logo 2007.svg) to show up at all, without clicking all the way to the file on the server. What i mean is that you are able to have PNG-format thumbnails for ABIT Logo.svg, and i'd like to know how to do so for American Broadcasting Company Logo 2007.svg as well. Would you be able to help me out with it? RingtailedFox • Talk • Stalk 00:03, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

- Go to di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
- On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our

I considered maybe even a 24 Portal, i see the project founder hasn't been on Wikipedia for nearly a year. What are your thoughts on the project? Are you still interested in it? And would you help revive it? Let me know, I would intend to help out a lot, maybe "take over" the founders position, well not take over, but possibly help lead the project? Was just a thought and I wanted your input. My talk page would be the best place. Cheers,
Note, the above message is what Steve Crossin asked me to say to you.
