Curry birthday
In a weird coincidence, I've run across two women's basketball coaches today whose reported birthday in the article about them is one day off from the birthday reported by the NCAA. What makes it odder is that you used the NCAA database to make the edit]. However when I look at the database I see October 30, 1966.
You think I'm missing something?--S Philbrick(Talk) 22:36, 17 September 2015 (UTC)
Sonja Hogg birthdate
In this edit you added a birthdate of December 19, 1945 for Sonja Hogg. I checked the NCAA database which list December 20, 1945 as her birthdate. This is the fifth correction I've made the last couple weeks; in each case the birthdate is off by one day. You know which source you use to check the birthdate? If it was the NCAA site I'm going to check with them to see if they had an error in the system which would explain the large number of errors.
If you obtained it from some other source could you identify it so I could check on the chance that the NCAA database is incorrect?--S Philbrick(Talk) 19:58, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

2019 US Banknote Contest
US Banknote Contest | ||
---|---|---|
November-December 2019 | ||
There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions |

Two Irving Mondscheins!
Patriarca12, nice work on the CCNY articles. Check out my additions to 1950 CCNY Beavers football team. Seems there were two Irving Mondscheins, both nicknamed "Moon". Wow, that's not confusing! Irving Mondschein was born in 1924 and was at NYU in the mid-to-late 1940s. The CCNY Mondschein was born around 1912 and graduated from CCNY in 1933. How you think we should disambiguate these two? Jweiss11 (talk) 02:45, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- Bonkers there are two of these gentlemen with this as the same name! I think WP:PTOPIC given the second Mondschein was not realized until today. The CCNY Mondschein could then potentially be Irving Mondschein (American football). I will ultimately defer to you on this though. Patriarca12 (talk) 03:22, 20 September 2021 (UTC)]

Peter Rossomando
Sorry to ask about an eight-year-old edit, but what is this NCAA database? I'm looking for a source on Rossomando's date of birth. Thanks, Mackensen (talk) 00:53, 4 November 2022 (UTC)

List of Oregon Ducks head football coaches
Patriarca12, happy new year! I noticed you're doing some work on the head coach lists. List of Oregon Ducks head football coaches needs to be modified to sync with the other lists. It looks more like List of Oregon Ducks football seasons with each and every season listed out. This has been on my to-do list for a long time, but I have never gotten around it. If you so inclined, it would be awesome if you want to knock that project out. Keep up the great work. Thanks, Jweiss11 (talk) 02:31, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Waiting on my Newspapers.com renewal to go through gives me time for other things, so updating coaches lists seemed like a decent project. Just finished off Oregon and will likely do Washigton State and Cal next. Patriarca12 (talk) 23:22, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

Infobox college sports team season
Patriarca12, nice work as always on your recent effort to cite all those SEC football team season articles. Thanks also for cleaning up the infoboxes. When you come across a clean infobox, can you to retain the coordinator, scheme, and captain fields? For years after about 1970, I include the coordinator and scheme fields, as they can likely be populated from media guides and news coverage. Also I have a discussion open at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject College football#Template:Infobox college sports team season: stadium capacity, field surface, multiple home stadiums that you may want to comment on. Citing Newspapers.com
Patriarca12, on the last few articles you've edited, when citing Newspapers.com, the URLs you've added are using "www-newspapers-com.wikipedialibrary.idm.oclc.org". I believe these should be transposed to the general "www.newspapers.com". Jweiss11 (talk) 01:43, 6 February 2024 (UTC)
