Hello
Thank you for the warm welcome
I'm having some trouble with the chart i'm using in the
If you could fix this or tell me how to I would be very happy.
- The coordinates are displaying fine for me in the infobox at the moment. If you want to show them on the top right of the article, on the title bar as well, you can add the parameter
display=inline,title
, like this:{{coord|2.186|S|77.051|W|display=inline,title}}
. - That's a nice first article, by the way :) I've only made a few fixes to it: I've moved some stuff around to comply with WP:Manual of Style, and turned your citations into references (because sources should be linked next to the text that is based on their information). Also, take care not to copy sentences directly from sources, that's WP:close paraphrasing and could be a copyright problem ;) Daß Wölf 03:53, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
Thank you
Thank you for the help Dab Wolf.

It so far is not responding as it should if you could help me thanks
- OK, you have a closing ref tag "</ref>", but not an opening tag - also you need to give a title, which in this case would be "M 4.4 - 15km SSE of Medford, Oklahoma", which gives the citation [1]
- However, a word of warning, this is not in any way a notable event, so it would not be wise to create an article on it, as it will just get deleted. Mikenorton (talk) 21:50, 17 May 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for making the article for Cyclone Veronica! Given how often Australia retires storms, the storm will likely be retired, so it's good to have the article. It's on the short side for now, but there are lots of resources out there to expand the article, if you're interested. Do you need any assistance with editing and how to develop articles? I'd be happy to help if you're interested. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 15:11, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
Agreed the main reason I made this article was for the cost of damage. But now that you mention it will probably happen to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by She-Hulka (talk • contribs)
- If you're looking at expanding the article, there is a list of warnings on the season talk page. Also, if you do a general Google search, put "Cyclone Veronica" in quotations, and just add whatever you find. Make sure you add references to what you add, as I noticed your Veronica article didn't have sources for every statement. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 17:21, 19 May 2019 (UTC)
- @WP:WPTC article. The article is far too short for a tropical cyclone as significant as Veronica, covering only limited areas with little detail. The article also contains numerous factual inaccuracies, ambiguities and unsourced claims, and its English expression requires some improvement, with the text currently including technical errors regarding punctuation and grammar. At present, this article should still be in Draft stage (whether in the draft namespace itself, or within your own user space) rather than in the main namespace. As such, it is inappropriate to add main article links at its current level of completion. Please feel free to ask myself or any of the other editors, such as Hurricanehink, if you have any queries regarding processes, conventions, or Wikipedia in general. Once again, we appreciate your effort in beginning the article—it is just not ready for publication yet. ChocolateTrain (talk) 04:37, 20 May 2019 (UTC)]

Wikipedia and copyright
Hello She-Hulka, and welcome to Wikipedia. Some of your additions to
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 12:15, 2 June 2019 (UTC)
