Actually, I think the only problem with linking the characters like this is that the underlining can be kind of distracting and the page can get a little harder to edit. I got the Hu Jintao portrait from the website of the CCP-owned newspaper China Daily. I have searched this website and other websites high and low to see if I could find any other good portraits of Jiang Zemin or Deng Xiaoping in the traditional uniform of the Central Military Commission (the green suit), but I can't still find a hi-res portrait of either. Actually, Jiang's Wikipedia entry has a picture of him in the Mao suit, but a face portrait of the same would be better for the entry. I did find a picture of Jiang in a traditional Chinese suit along with George W. Bush, but I don't think it's close enough. I know you're new at this, but some of your recent deletions are a problem. First off, just because the uploader or author requested something be deleted, it is still not within policy to honor that request. The one exception is deletion of User: subpages, because everything becomes "owned" by the entire project, not just the originator.
