Delete. The redirect is to a defunct United States soccer team. In the United States, the sport is known as soccer, not football. Meanwhile, there is an actual St. Matthews F.C. in Ireland (https://www.irishfa.com/find-a-club/st-matthews), a children's club, which is so small it doesn't even have its own website, only a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/stmatthewsfc/, and will probably never have a Wikipedia page. Referring to events in the past as "proposed" is sort of technically correct, but certainly confusing. As of 2023, this phrase would probably be most likely to refer to a prospective referendum on the UK rejoining the EU. We don't seem to have any articles on that topic—the closest is

Opinion polling on the United Kingdom rejoining the European Union (2020–present). As such, there's no good target for this and I think we're best off deleting it. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 12:44, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply

The result of the discussion was retarget to

The film did not release in 2022. It still hasn't. Kailash29792 (talk) 08:40, 10 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep as it's very reasonable that someone might think this movie was indeed released in 2022 as planned. J947edits 21:25, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep but retarget to
Kasethan Kadavulada (upcoming film), as the target article was moved by the nom. Alternatively this could be refined to the "Release" section of the article, where there is a clear explanation on why the film's release was delayed several times. I think this is better targeted at Ephebos. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 14:56, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Keep current target as Ephebos doesn't use "ephebo", as "ephebos" itself is the plural. However, Ephebophilia § Etymology and definitions refers to the Ancient Greek word "ephebo". ~ Eejit43 (talk) 18:16, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget – Ephebophilia doesn't use "Ephebo" either. The pointed out section also uses the word "Ephebos". Randi Moth TalkContribs 06:47, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete since it seems that this term isn't actually used anywhere on Wikipedia. signed, Rosguill talk 05:40, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak keep or soft redirect Wiktionary which says ephebo is slang for ephebophile. A reader going to Ephebophilia can figure out the root of the word from the Etymology section, if interested. Jay 💬 16:02, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Soft redirect per Jay. Compassionate727 (T·C) 01:26, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as an informal synonym of 'ephebophile': the relation between the search term and the topic of the article is straighforward and I don't see how any reader could be confused even without an explicit mention. There's no point retargeting to Wiktionary if Wikipedia already has content on the topic. As for the proposed retargeting to Ephebos, I don't see why we would do that: yeah, éphēbo- is the stem of the Greek word, but stems aren't used like that in English: unlike for some other languages (like Sanskrit), the citation form you'd see in English texts that discuss the Greek word would include the case ending: éphēbos. – Uanfala (talk) 11:18, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
