Lcwujc: spam-only account, creating links to www.paintinghere.com

Lcwujc seems to be a spam-only account. The account has made a dozen changes in the last couple of weeks, but all of them seem to be to create links to http://www.paintinghere.com, a store that sells prints of artworks.

The user has only gotten one warning, but since this seems to be a spam-only account, I wonder whether we should go ahead and block? -- Narsil (talk) 19:29, 10 September 2009 (UTC)

msplinks

I just cleaned up a bunch of msplinks.com redirects--they are not always spam per se, but they seem to often occur in spammy pages. They show up in wikipedia because someone has pasted a link from a Myspace profile page. Maybe some folks here would like to watch for them regularly, if you're not already doing that. Here is a simple python script for decoding them:

I have no objection if an established editor wants to re-establish some of the better targetted links.
