Beech Bottom is located at 40°13′27″N 80°39′8″W / 40.22417°N 80.65222°W / 40.22417; -80.65222 (40.224276, -80.652181).^[6]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 1.86 square miles (4.82 km²), of which 1.16 square miles (3.00 km²) is land and 0.70 square miles (1.81 km²) is water.^[7]
