Gully is a city in

Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 59 at the 2020 census.[3]

History

A post office called Gully has been in operation since 1896.[6] The city was named for a gully near the town site.[7]

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.246 square miles (0.64 km2), all land.[1]

Gully is along State Highway 92 (MN 92) and Polk County Road 2.

Politics

In the 2020 presidential election, the city of Gully was tied, with 15 votes each to Joe Biden and Donald Trump.[8]

The average household size was 1.74 and the average family size was 2.73.

The median age in the city was 47 years. 22.7% of residents were under the age of 18; 4.5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 21.1% were from 25 to 44; 24.3% were from 45 to 64; and 27.3% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the city was 54.5% male and 45.5% female.
