Sex offences
In 1999, Smith was convicted of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl. He was later arrested in 2008 after failing to register as a sex offender.[14]
Death
On June 18, 2019, Smith died of sarcomatoid carcinoma of the bladder and Sarcomatoid carcinomas variant of urotherlia (SVUC) at age 55.[15] His death is possibly attributed to his addiction of chewing tobacco.
