March 2017 Israel–Syria incident
- In response to several Israeli airstrikes against suspected
  Scud missiles, and specifically target the Israeli city of Haifa. Israel responded by stating that any such actions by the Assad regime, or attacks on its aircraft, will cause Israel to "annihilate" Syrian air defense systems. (The Times of Israel)

Sinai insurgency
- A roadside bomb kills four Egyptian Army soldiers near the town of Arish, North Sinai Governorate. (Reuters)
A vehicle mounts the pavement and runs into pedestrians in Islington, London, injuring 4. The teenage perpetrators are found carrying offensive weapons, but are not assumed to be terrorists. (BBC)

Northern Mali conflict
