Amartya Sen's children

Amartya Sen has four children, Nandana, Antara, Kabir, and Indrani, but only two are named. Would it be possible to add all four names to the article? It seems like it might be rather hurtful to leave two off. PhoebeHarvardEcon (talk) 20:35, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @PhoebeHarvardEcon: if the other children are not notable in their own right then Wikipedia does not generally add the names. In this case, two of the children have their own articles and two don't. I hope this helps, Knitsey (talk) 20:48, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If unable to provide references, please remove "Nationality" in the right info block and change Citizenship: United States to Citizenship: India (or Republic of India).

As of this writing Prof Sen is is listed in the information block as:

Nationality: Indian Citizenship: United States

It would be news if he changed his citizenship in his 80's from Indian to US. India does not permit dual citizenship. The most recent reference I could find is a 2013 CV at Harvard, which says he's Indian.

It's also peculiar, even if common in the US and maybe elsewhere, to strike a difference between "nationality" and "citizenship" at all. 73.165.59.32 (talk) 15:58, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done since both are unsourced. Anyone can re-add the appropriate citizenship along with a
