Query

Very nice to see this! One query re: "assistant keeper of the Department of Medieval Antiquities.[1] In 1969 she moved to the Department of Medieval and Later Antiquities (later renamed the Department of Medieval and Modern Europe), serving as assistant keeper until 1985," - wasn't this just the departments getting renamed and reorganized around her? Good point Johnbod, I've rephrased and added to it. David M. Wilson published a great flowchart of the evolution of the departments in his 2002 book, which is updated on page 5 here. By the way, should the other L. Webster be Leslie Webster (Australian politician), or just Leslie Webster (politician)? --Usernameunique (talk) 14:27, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks - well, the disam police will fix that if necessary. That pdf is a pleasant walk down memory lane, though one regrets having missed so many! A bot will fix those redirects before too long, btw, & of course they already redirect. Johnbod (talk) 14:44, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
