This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because Abbosov has received many honorary titles and awards, including a People's Artist of the Uzbek SSR, a People's Artist of the USSR, and an Order of the Red Banner of Labour. He is considered to one of the most influential Uzbek filmmakers and is celebrated as one of the founders of the Uzbek film making industry. I haven't looked at the sources at all. However if Abbosov is in fact one of the founders of the Uzbek music industry, then that by itself is sufficient to grant him notability. I see that it is sourced as well. So, there shouldn't be a problem.
