As you have seen through that first Userbox, I am a dual American Canadian citizen. I currently live in the Minnesota twin cities, in the capital Saint Paul. I was born in Chicago to an American father and a Canadian mother. That's how I became a dual citizen of both US and Canada. I am a Buddhist, having converted to the religion from Islam, before being Muslim I was a Christian. I have a strong interest in New York, I plan to move there at one point. I love listening to radio, although I now only listen to AM, due to the overplaying of the same artists over and over again on the FM stations, almost never playing my favourite people of Taylor Swift, Shakira, the late Avicii, Dua Lipa, or Tate McRae. Rather they play too much Maroon 5. I don't know why, but you can read more on my essay here. I currently listen to WCCO 830 AM.
Alongside pop, I also enjoy some rock, especially grunge and punk, but I like punk the most. Favourite punk band is the Linda Lindas.
By virtue of being from the United States, American English is my native dialect and I use it every day. However, with my knowledge of many Canadian terms learned from my canadian mom and from visiting Canada, I have lots of Canadian English understanding and for some words, I do prefer the Canadian term over the American equivalent.
