Catholic-Hierarchy.org
Hello. I noticed that you have edited a number of articles on Catholicism. A discussion is taking place as to whether the website Catholic-Hierarchy.org is a reliable source that can be utilized on Wikipedia or whether all references and information derived from it should be deleted. This topic is currently being discussed at the Reliable Sources Noticeboard [1]. As the website's removal as a reference will affect several thousand Wikipedia articles, I believe that the broadest range of opinions should be obtained before action is taken. Please contribute if interested.Patapsco913 (talk) 22:07, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Thanks for the review! But I don't understand how you intuit that there's no plagiarism because 10 sources were cited. I could have copied from all of them. There is a handy toolbox to the right of every nomination which includes tools like Earwig's and Duplicate Detector to check for close paraphrasing. Best, Yoninah (talk) 20:33, 2 March 2016 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing that out. I have replied on the nomination page, and I hope I made it clearer what I meant, since you're correct in saying that the number of sources cited doesn't in any way guarantee originality. — AJDS talk 21:52, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

I really appreciate your effort to be upfront and open at Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous)/Archive 58#"Evangelization and Wikipedia". Your calm tone and careful explanation help make Wikipedia a great place to be and probably saved at least one editor from trying to figure out what Catholic Wikipedia editors were up to. Thanks! Where does your Saint Sabbas image come from
It says that the Saint Sabbas image comes from you and wikipedia originally, but I can't find a source besides that for its origin in the real world. All it says is that it's medieval. It's from an Eastern Christian, Eastern Orthodox tradition perhaps, but from where, what country, church, abbey, etc.? Was wondering if you knew, or if it's from the West or Eastern Catholic, and what year or decade/century it's from. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.112.246.69 (talk) 10:12, 3 June 2020 (UTC)

Hello! I'm the Director of Communication of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. I write you about the seal (unofficial) that you have created in the past. I would like to ask you the courtesy of removing it because not being our official logo it causes confusion in our stakeholders. It would be possible? We would be very grateful. File permission problem with File:Santoreste-Stemma.png
Thanks for uploading File:Santoreste-Stemma.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to [email protected], stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to [email protected].
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 06:14, 7 August 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Allegheny County Department of Public Works
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read
the guide to writing your first article.to help you create articles. You may want to consider using the Article Wizard
A tag has been placed on Allegheny County Department of Public Works requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. AusLondonder (talk) 18:44, 6 April 2024 (UTC)
