Sphalerite
Sphalerite is a sulfide mineral with the chemical formula (Zn,Fe)S. It is found in a variety of deposit types, and is found in association with galena, chalcopyrite, pyrite (and other sulfides), calcite, dolomite, quartz, rhodochrosite, and fluorite. Sphalerite is an important ore of zinc, with around 95 percent of all primary zinc extracted from its ore. Due to its variable trace-element content, sphalerite is also an important source of several other metals such as cadmium, gallium, germanium and indium. The zinc in sphalerite is also used to produce brass. This sample was extracted in Creede, Colorado, and features black tetrahedral crystals of sphalerite up to 8 mm (0.31 in) in size, with minor chalcopyrite and calcite, in a 4.5 cm × 3.0 cm × 2.0 cm (1.77 in × 1.18 in × 0.79 in) matrix. Undeletion

Regardless of the merits of the article, please be aware that no administrator can undelete any article that was deleted per BLP, or BLP1E for that matter, without an explicit consensus to do so: Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Badlydrawnjeff. Just so you know, as you're likely to get a fair bit of stick for this, I reckon. Daniel (talk) 02:34, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

BLP undeletion

Please, don't ever restore any article deleted under

WP:BLP by another administrator without prior discussion and consensus, as you did here. Let's try to avoid wheel wars. Thank you. Jehochman Talk 02:36, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply

If at all possible, could you give me some more (non-identifying) information regarding the case you mention in the image description. As a cardiothoracic surgeon, I'm fascinated that that patient was still alive. Ronk01 talk 23:30, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of imminent suspension of administrative permissions due to inactivity

Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative permissions of users who have been inactive for one year (i.e. administrators who have not made any edits or logged actions in over one year). As a result of this discussion, your administrative permissions will be removed pending your return if you do not return to activity within the next several days. If you wish to have these permissions reinstated should this occur, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. Prisoners and hats puzzle survived the deletion discussion, however your famous diagram has disappeared from the page. In place of it is a linked diagram, which I find less satisfactory (because linked rather than shown on page). I couldn't find where your diagram was deleted by going back through the history. Assuming that your diagram appeared directly on the page, could you please place it back on the page? Centrepull (talk) 00:06, 20 July 2015 (UTC)[reply
