- Thanks for providing more references. What a biography of a living person (BLP) needs are inline references - please follow this link for how to go about it. What I find most helpful is to add a 'Cite' button to the editing toolbar. Go to <My preferences> and then to the <Gadgets> tab. Check <refTools>. That makes inline citing a lot easier. I have nominated O-Gon Kwon, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/O-Gon Kwon. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Hey, did you know that when I templated the article Phyllis Deane, there was only a primary source written by her sourcing the article[3]? You must have, since you added the additional references after! How weird is that? And you blame me for for placing a template on an article with only a primary source? I don't think you have your priorities completely straight! Best wishes, Xtzou (Talk) 00:40, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

Hi, just out of curiosity, do you call Peter Ady a "she" and a "her" because you pretty much copied your sources without really reading them, or is "Peter", a notoriously male name, in this case a her? Cheers, Xtzou (Talk) 20:45, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. 765 detail
Hi, Just done a couple of chnges - minor - to your 765 article. What I dont understand is the reference to 67 being built. Can you point me to the source of the number, or gimme idea of fleet no.s so I can ref from own books and Peter Goulds site. Also added a "keep" to the prop AFD --Keith 10:45, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
Many thanks - and sorry for what looks like an error - I have tried adding up all the single decker combis from the list at http://www.petergould.co.uk/local_transport_history/fleetlists/manchester2.htm but it comes to nothing like 67... so I must be in error which is a bit worrying. According to my referencing the information came from http://www.mtms.org.uk/ but that site has now I think changed substantially. Thanks very much for this. PS: My dad really like this tram. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 11:36, 26 June 2010 (UTC))
I am in process of converting Peter Goulds to a straight list, so should be able to come up with a more accurate number (it may be right but built over a number of years --Keith 11:56, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
Have complted that exercise - exists as MS eXel file. If you want a copy, then email using my talk page email facility (left hand side). I actually get 69 Single deck Combi with bogies!!! - total 1102 trams - includes 3 from Middleton not used! --Keith 17:01, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
I just tried adding up in my head and only got to around 30. Do you think it could be a useful wikipedia list? (19:39, 26 June 2010 (UTC))
Err not really - The Peter Gould list will do most people. My list is same detail but broken down per tram so an entry for 765's section looks like this (765 is correct, but I have altered the notes on the others to give some variety)
Fleet No. | SD /DD | Top | Wheels | Trucks | Body | Seating | Built | W/D | Note |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
763 | Single-deck | Combination | bogie | Brill 22E | MCTD | 40 | 1914 | 1930 | entered service over a three-year period 1920-1922. received MCTD bogies in 1928. |
764 | Single-deck | Combination | bogie | Brill 22E | MCTD | 40 | 1914 | 1930 | entered service over a two-year period 1920-1921 |
765 | Single-deck | Combination | bogie | Brill 22E | MCTD | 40 | 1914 | 1930 | also quoted as Brush 22E trucks. |
766 | Single-deck | Combination | bogie | Brill 22E | MCTD | 40 | 1914 | 1930 | The Peckham trucks replaced by Brill 21E trucks at a later date and were also top-covered because of a low bridge. |
767 | Single-deck | Combination | bogie | Brill 22E | MCTD | 40 | 1914 | 1930 | Top-covered by 1914, increasing seating capacity to 32/30. |

I have placed the file on wiki, on a test area. If you want it then goto User:Manstaruk/Sandbox2
It looks gibberish to look at normal, but if you go in edit mode and copy the whole content, and paste this into a text file, you can then open it in a spreadsheet like excel and see it all in proper colomns. Beware the wiki patrollers - it will not remain there long. Given I have done this in a matter of hours, I make no excuse for any errors - either mine or original --Keith 20:13, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

Regarding Inés Alberdi
Hi, I've tagged this article with a {{multiple issues}} tag for things I feel need addressing. I'm also not sure that the article meets notability guidelines. I hope you plan to continue to improve this article and thus have not CSD or PRODed the article. ialsoagree (talk) 23:44, 24 July 2010 (UTC)
- I have removed the ugly tag as I have added another ref and some formatting and it is I think a bit soon for this. As for notability I am not sure where there would be doubt for this one. (Msrasnw (talk) 00:11, 25 July 2010 (UTC))
- Soon for it? I would say that before an article goes up it should be ready for main space, isn't that what user sandboxes are for? In any event, you have touched up the article and notability is more clear now than it was before, so I agree with you there. I have readded the prose tag, now to the appropriate section, as it shouldn't be removed until the issue is addressed. I'm currently trying to go through unreviewed new pages, otherwise I would help by rewriting the section in prose. If you're unwilling/unable to do it, hopefully the tag will prompt someone else too. Cheers! ialsoagree (talk) 00:24, 25 July 2010 (UTC)

I'm afraid you miss my point: in Dublin, "Full Professor" means "Department Chair." Though generally called "Professor," Prof. Keyes in fact seems to be an Associate Professor. This is of course a much higher position than "Professor" in the USA. However, her notability would be based on

Erich Albrecht citation from Who's Who in America 1980-1981
I wasn't able to access many of the resources I cited in the AfD for Erich Albrecht since most of these have been shipped offsite from our library for storage as older items. However, I was able to get hold of one of the Who's Who in America (Chicago : Marquis Who's Who, 1981) entries (I think this was the last time he showed up there). Feel free to use and cite directly to bolster the article, or to follow up on some of the information (e.g., the books he's published). This is an exact transcription of the entry for him (all abbreviations are exactly as printed) except that I did highlight a couple of items. I think the key ties to Albrecht the translator and Albrecht the academic are that he served in the US Army 1942-45, and was appointed Special Consultant to the Secretary of war in 1945.
