Can you send me an email? I have additional sourcing that may be helpful to you in your efforts to get the Four Freedoms to FA. I have a source that makes points that I think add to what you have already said.--Wehwalt (talk) 16:17, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!
The Writer's Barnstar | |
Not sure if you've already gotten a barnstar for this, but you deserve another one, on Four Freedoms (Norman Rockwell) and other associated articles. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia related to freedom of speech. — Cirt (talk ) 17:33, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

Just a quick note to congratulate you on the promotion of
Four Freedoms - ambiguous criticism?
Sorry to express my confusion on such a old edit, but one sentence stuck out as almost a non-sequitur, confusing me.
- "Others have pointed to the universality of the Freedom of Religion as disconcerting to practitioners of particular faiths."
Maybe it is my own liberal bias showing, but this just reads weird. The only sense I can make out of it is, that individuals who would allow only for the existence of their own religion, are disturbed by the advocacy for the permitted existence of any other religions? Is that what was being mentioned? Or is it the implicit trans-national aspect that disturbs - you will be required to allow this freedom in your country just as we have 'here'. I'm at a loss how to disambiguate. Perhaps adding words something like 'exclusionary', 'exclusive', 'purist', 'cross-national', etc. ? Is there a chance you could go back and glance at that source article and glean the exact meaning of the mentions? (And thank you for all that work I see you did so long ago!) Great American Wiknic 2014 - Chicago
I'd like to invite you to add a Chicago event for the Great American Wiknic. This year we're aiming to coalesce nationally around July 6, but any date that is convenient to your local community works as well. And don't be shy about putting something preliminary on the national Wiknic page, it all helps!--Pharos (talk) 16:36, 3 June 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Misty Copeland, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Metropolitan Opera House and Backstage (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Article history errors
On several occasions now, you have tried to update the article history of an article recently promoted to FA, but in doing so you have introduced an error into the article history. Please check when you update the AH: if there is an error, a redlink category is introduced at the bottom of the talk page. It may be better to wait until the FAC is closed and the AH can be fully updated; part of the problem is that you are doing a partial update. Thanks. Sarastro1 (talk) 14:00, 7 June 2014 (UTC)

Worthy of good article?
Hey Tony! Hope all is well. I admire your work with article reviewing, and if you're not busy, I was wondering if you could give some quick input on an article I recently wrote? Article in question is David Hudson (pioneer); I'm hoping to get it to GA status, but was wondering if you could provide some quick preliminary input on whether or not it's close to fruition, and/or what could be worked on. I plan on working on the prose and requesting a GOCE review in the meantime. I understand the requirements for GAs, but this would be my first time working on one, so some input would be great. Thanks so much! ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 04:18, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

- (talk page stalker) From a quick look, it looks almost ready to go to a GA review. Two things that leaped out immediately were the the Howe source referencing "p. 626 - 130" which sounds like a typo, and plus that and the Hyde source seems to be used a lot without qualifying it with page numbers (unless it truly is a bunch of facts picked off one page). I'd get those sorted out first, as they may cause problems with trusting the article content is truly verifiable. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 10:37, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you both very much, I appreciate it! I'll take care of your recommendations, Ritchie333. Back to the library with me. ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 10:53, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
