Madonna (album)

I believe these six articles are comprehensive and collectively form a Good Topic on Wikipedia. Hence I am nominating them together as GT. --Legolas (talk2me) 11:14, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think it passes the criteria, but one observation I have is that she used the Boy Toy image for the Like a Virgin album not this one. 190.233.10.154 (talk) 16:15, 11 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your concern, but as is clearly stated by the "Lucky Star" article, she started using the Boy-Toy belt from that point of time. Hence it seggregates more from this era than the LAV era. The LAV era is more remembered for the Virginal bride iconography IMO. --Legolas (talk2me) 03:18, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: I'm confused about something. The "Lucky star" article says it was the "fifth and the last single from the album" and the "Borderline" article says it was "the fourth single[...] became Madonna's first top ten song on the Billboard Hot 100", yet the singles chronology says it was the other way around. So, which is it? --109.166.136.53 (talk) 10:15, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"Lucky Star" was the fourth single and "Borderline" was the fifth and final one. Corrections done. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:28, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - I think we need to work out what to do about the tour articles for these early Madonna albums. The Virgin Tour was in support of this album, as well as its follow up Li1ke a Virgin. But perhaps it would be simplest to just include it in a topic on the latter, as opposed to one on this album as well. The same holds true for Who's That Girl World Tour, True Blue (album) and Who's That Girl (soundtrack). Thoughts? - rst20xx (talk) 18:00, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is exactly for this reason that I ommitted The Virgin Tour and Who's That Girl World Tour from this and the True Blue GTC nominations. They are more in lieu in terms of thematic, timeline wise and prmotionwise with the latter albums and hence should be clubbed together, when they are nominated (which I plan to do pretty soon). Hence I believe, these six articles are fine as themselves in the GTC. --Legolas (talk2me) 03:16, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    Support - OK then, that's good enough for me - rst20xx (talk) 17:19, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Habsburg class battleships

Main contributors: White Shadows and Buggie111.

Buggie111 and myself are nominating this for a GT because we feel that we have done all the work necesary to get them all to GA's. We got the articles that deal with the battleships themselves promoted earlier today. Buggie111 is aware of this because he asked me to start the nomination himself as he is currently buisy. Thanks.--White Shadows you're breaking up 23:08, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

30 Rock (season 1)

Main contributors: Cornucopia, Jamie jca, and ThinkBlue.

Every episode article from this season is of

Featured list. I do believe this meets the Good Topic criteria. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:22, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply

The Simpsons (season 3)

Co-nominators: From
Nergaal
.

After eleven months of hard work this topic has finally been completed. It is most likely

WP:DOH's final episode GT, since we have now achieved our goal of getting all classic episodes to GA status. Theleftorium 09:22, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply

Tosa class battleships

Nomination for GT. No Tosa-class battleship was built, but Tosa was used for many ordnance experiments and Kaga was converted into an aircraft carrier. All articles are at GA or above, and Tosa is up for FAC now

Not sure how the rules work since I did some fiddling about with Tosa. But if it's OK, then Support. - The Bushranger (talk) 07:42, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Also...as an aside...is it bad that every single time I see GT the first thing I think of is the Golden Twinkee?? - The Bushranger (talk) 07:48, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Imperator Aleksandr II class battleships

I am nominating these three articles as a Good Topic because all are GA-class.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 00:41, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Celebration (Madonna album)

I am nominating these three articles for Good Topic as I believe they represent a comprehensive set of articles and are one of the best. --Legolas (talk2me) 11:25, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking the same, just asking how do I include it? --Legolas (talk2me) 12:02, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - please remember to include the title of the topic in a section header, or else people can't easily edit this nomination - rst20xx (talk) 14:29, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose - Celebration: The Video Collection needs to be added, as ChrisTheDude says. It needs to be brought up to GA first of all. Also, I don't think this topic can just be called "Celebration" as there are other potential topics that could go under this name, for example one on Celebration (band). It needs to be disambiguated - rst20xx (talk) 14:32, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to take some time as I have almost completed developing Celebration: The Video Collection for GA. Also, what to do regarding the disambig? --Legolas (talk2me) 03:34, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'd say just call the topic "Celebration (Madonna album)". As there is no longer a massive GAN backlog I see no reason this nomination can't be put on hold whilst that article has a crack at GA, if you're going to work on the Video Collection right now - rst20xx (talk) 04:42, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well how to change the nomination now? --Legolas (talk2me) 04:49, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    Done - rst20xx (talk) 14:11, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
...and Celebration: The Video Collection is a GA. Brilliantly fast work. I am now happy to support - rst20xx (talk) 15:51, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
