Copa do Brasil

On 19 January,

Palmeiras played against Santo André
and won by the aggregate score of 3–1, advancing to the Quarterfinals. In the 1st leg of the Round of 16, Palmeiras suffered a shocking defeat by the score of 6–0 to Coritiba, the team didn't play football at all and Coritiba was magnificent. In the 2nd leg, Palmeiras conquered a 2–0 victory at home against Coritiba, but it wasn't enough to achieve qualification to the tournaments semifinals.
