  1. ^ Although the term "Crash Helmets" is unhyphenated in the heading to the Queen's Printer edition (which is how the act is invariably cited), the section granting the short title in the act itself deems that the act is the "Motor-Cycle Crash-Helmets (Religious Exemption) Act 1976".[4]
