  1. ^ The original short title of the Deep Sea Mining Act 1981 was the Deep Sea Mining (Temporary Provisions) Act 1981, but this was amended by the Deep Sea Mining Act 2014 on 14 July 2014.[4]
  2. ^ a b The original short title of the Senior Courts Act 1981 was the Supreme Court Act 1981, but this was amended by the Constitutional Reform Act 2005 on 1 October 2009. At the same time, the term "Supreme Court" in the long title was amended to "Senior Courts".[5]
