Nice article!
Loved your article on Thyra Samter Winslow and the floating birthdate. So common actually. How she got a passport stating she was born in 1893 is beyond me (note the Brazilian visa says the info came from her US passport). But, 1886 is probably correct. She might have had a reason to change the date, but her parents weren't likely to have reported it wrong. Note that they married 27 May 1885 and the first extant census on which Thyra was enumerated shows she was born in March 1886. SusunW (talk) 22:38, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
- @SusunW:Thank you! And thanks for the genealogy links as well! They're so helpful. I will include them as references on the article. Nonmodernist (talk) 02:20, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for quality articles such as Pearl Doles Bell, Underworld (1937 film), Thyra Samter Winslow and Alma Webster Hall Powell, based on scientific background, neatly arranged, for adding images such as a 1919 one, for teaching courses, - Alex, you are an awesome Wikipedian!

Margaret Hayden Rorke DYK nomination and cleanup
Hello, Nonmodernist. I've approved reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/Margaret Hayden Rorke. It was a great read, though I have an outstanding question. In addition, I've moved the nomination from 9 April to 8 April. For the reason why, see Wikipedia:Did you know: Articles that have been worked on exclusively in a user or user talk subpage or at articles for creation or in the Draft namespace and then moved (or in some cases pasted) to the article mainspace are considered new as of the date they reach the mainspace.
and the shorter explanation at Template talk:Did you know: In the current nominations section find the subsection for the date on which the article was created or on which expansion began (or, if a new Good Article, the date on which it became a GA), not the date on which you make the nomination.
I've also marked User:Margaret Hayden Rorke for speedy deletion because it was a result of an erroneous move, and there is no editor with that username. Thanks for your contributions, and happy editing. Vycl1994 (talk) 04:40, 9 April 2019 (UTC) Edited at 05:21, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
- Many thanks, Vycl1994. I appreciate your help in fixing my timezone/date/page moving errors. --Nonmodernist (talk) 13:48, 9 April 2019 (UTC)

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to [email protected], so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at [email protected].
Thank you!
