40S ribosomal protein S14 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RPS14 gene.[5][6][7]

pseudogenes of this gene dispersed through the genome. In Chinese hamster ovary cells, mutations in this gene can lead to resistance to emetine, a protein synthesis inhibitor.[7]
