Bloch you cite "The Jewish lists: physicists and generals, actors and writers, and hundreds of other lists of accomplished Jews" and strangely enough, there's not a trace of that book to be found and Schocken books does not carry that title. • It's true that he doesn't respond, either here or (as far as I've seen) on the talk pages of articles where his edits have been questioned. Is there a WP policy that would allow blocking him for that reason? If so, I would favor such a block. But maybe he's just autistic, unable to respond to people. Personally, I would prefer to block him instead based on the content of his edits, which all seem to be devoted to inserting a Jew vs. non-Jew distinction into articles. Hi. I've been on this platform for around 10 years and made 100s of contributions (many I consider to be more than useful), at best I can understand a ban (even if I perhaps wrongly thought it was common knowledge found basically everywhere so didn't have to source it, I know I might be wrong now), but isn't an *indefinite* ban somehow too harsh ? Arslan-San has a long history of POV pushing, nationalistic editing, and adding false information to articles that is unsourced. He was blocked by the sysop Doug Weller for this before too [1], but this behaviour has continued. Only a topic ban from India-Pakistan articles will suffice. Here is a list of the problematic edits:

It's too easy to throw in the nationalistic tags, do you call peoples White Supremacists that easily ? Do you know that Indian/Pakistan nationalists nearly exclusively refer to few subjects like the Kashmir dispute or wars between these nations ? How is that representative of my editing history since +10 years ? Anyway, I'll respond to your accusations one by one :

• Artlan-San adds a section on Pakistan to
  Traditionalist School, with one paragraph being sourced to a personal blog and the other not having any reference. [2]

The "personal blog" was quoting a direct student of Guénon on the issue, while "the other" didn't have any reference because the page it was redirected to was itself referenced.

• Arslan-San removes citations and adds his own material to the article on Geert Wilders. [3]

I didn't "remove" anything, I brought an additional information.

• Arlsan-San’s additions are removed by experienced editors for being uncited. [4]

If you follow the thread you'd see the "experienced editor" finally agreed with me, but brought his own ways of adding the info.

• Arslan-San adds unsourced material to the article about Zafar Ali Khan. [5]

You're perhaps not aware of South Asian dynamics, but I didn't have to source it as it's implied, that's like saying that you have to source that someone born

• Arslan-San adds material that isn’t even contained in the sources he cites and is reverted by more experienced editors for doing so. [6]

It was all sourced in the references given.

• Arslan-San adds uncited material to the article about Riaz Basra. [7]

It was sourced in the previous reference.

• Arslan-San removes citations from the article on Ehsan Elahi Zaheer and adds his own POV. [8]

I was the one who added it at first but then didn't find a verified source on it.

• Arslan-San adds to the article "although rape is not legally allowed, it is a fact that a woman likes a man who is very expert at rape" or that "generally when a woman is attacked by a man—whether her husband or some other man—she enjoys the attack, being too lusty." [9]

In a book on the Hare Krishna movement one of the main criticisms of the figure is that, the fact that it has been taken out is the controversial measure.

• Arslan-San removes a perfectly cited category, with an edit summary saying “that’s a very precise category; the article didn’t mention him criticizing feminism itself”. [10]

There was an idea of him being anti-feminist and peoples still believe it, that's why I added it then accepted my error when found out he doesn't consider himself as such.

• Arslan-San adds into the article about Afzal Guru “who said that Afzal wrote it in 2010 but couldn't find a publisher” without a citation. [11]

That's literally in the article quoted.

• Arslan-San adds nationalistic material to the article that isn’t in the citation he included. [12]

How is that "nationalistic" ? It pertains to religious history, and If you go through the citation this information is there (I didn't quote the page because I have a Kindle version).

• Arslan-San adds a sentence to the article about Nadeem F. Paracha without a source. [13]

Because the link referred to (Aatish Raj) contains this information...

If you follow the edit history you'll see that I provided the sources and that "experienced editors" accepted it.

I literally quoted the source (Ghuman's profile on WorldCat).

• Arslan-San changes the birthplace of Muhammad Abdul Aleem Siddiqi from his actual birthplace from Meerut, India to Pakistan and removed the category for Indian Muslims. [16]

I didn't change the birthplace, I added it in his biography, and if you're a scholar from Pakistan you can't be an Indian Muslim as you can't possess both nationalities.

• Arslan-San changes Indian subcontinent to Pakistan, despite the fact that much of Abul A'la Maududi’s career was spent in both India and Pakistan. [17]

Have you heard of nationalities ? I mean, would you say "Einstein was a scientist from Western Europe" or from Germany ? Who described a *modern* individual by his *region*... ?

• Arslan-San changes the birthplace of a South Asian Islamic scholar from British India to Pakistan. [18]

Same thing : when Mawdudi died British India was no more operative for few decades.

• Arslan-San changes the birthplace of Rajkumar Hirani’s ancestors from British India to Pakistan, without a citation. [19]

If you do read the article I referenced, Hirani himself talks of Pakistan, that's why I precised that these areas are *NOW* in Pakistan.

After contemplating for few months I've finally identified my errors (feeble sources for living persons and some edit wars for petty reasons), and I think that if I do get unblocked I could help this platform to be less biased, precisely on matters pertaining to nationalism in the Southn Asian region and also matters pertaining to philosophy (in general) and to the religion of Islam (in particular), as I tried to do faithfully for more than 10 years. Arslan-San's edits in the area of India-Pakistan are just as problematic as his BLP violations. The user has added revisionist history to articles to push nationalism on Wikipedia. The list of edits I share above demonstrate this.[21] If this user's request to be unblocked is granted, a topic ban should be put in place, as mentioned by Doug Weller.
