Your DYK nomination of Shooting of David McAtee
Hi I made a review at Template:Did you know nominations/Shooting of David McAtee and there are some minor queries. Mujinga (talk) 17:57, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
Hi, this image was nominated for deletion by the uploader on February 20 because he found out it is not free. New users keep putting it back in the article John R. Countryman when they shouldn't. Could you get it deleted? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 14:23, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
- It looks like it's already been deleted. It looks like there's something funky going on - see the block rationale here. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 16:02, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

ı was actually trying to be constructive. why dont you change the name of the article it doesnt make sense this way — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.119.40.153 (talk) 17:13, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
- UFO: Enemy Unknown is the correct name of the article, per the second point at Wikipedia:Naming conventions (video games). That the series name later became confusing does not affect what an article should be called or how it should be referred to in other articles. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 17:17, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

DYK for Kawade Shibatarō
Hi, I see you've put this DYK hook in a preparation area without the image, but the reviewer and I agreed that it should run with this image and "(example pictured)" on the end of the hook. The nomination shows the image and caption. The image is (cropped from) one that has been shared by a GLAM partner. Please could the hook be presented with its image, or was there some specific reason to exclude the image in this case? Thanks in advance for any help, MartinPoulter (talk) 13:47, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hi @MartinPoulter: I always try to include your images, both because they're generally excellent and because I want to support GLAM. In this case, however, the concept you were illustrating did not show up well at the display size that DYK images are run at. The 3D effect is actually easier to see in this other work, but the caption for that image didn't mention it, so I was afraid to swap out images. I'm happy to pull the hook from prep if you've got another image we can use. The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 15:29, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
- I'm very appreciative of your help! In this case I'm disappointed but I see your reasoning. If the proposed vase is unacceptable, I don't have an alternative photograph. Cheers, MartinPoulter (talk) 13:08, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
