Bloom is an extinct town located in Otero County, Colorado, United States. The townsite is located at 37°41′15″N 103°57′24″W / 37.6875°N 103.9566°W / 37.6875; -103.9566 (Bloom) at an elevation of 4,800 feet (1,463 m).[1]

History

The Bloom post office operated from April 18, 1899, until May 31, 1938.[2][3] The community was named after Frank G. Bloom, a cattleman.[4]
