Khadimoul Rassoul Sheck Fall – known professionally as Sheck Wes – is a Harlem-born rapper, songwriter and model. [1] Wes is known widely for Mo Bamba (song), his 2017 song that went on to go viral in 2018.[2] Wes is jointly signed to Travis Scott's Cactus Jack and Kanye West's GOOD Music record labels.[3][4]
Early Life
The son of Senegalese immigrants, Wes was born in
New York.[5]
Wes started experimenting with music at age 9. By age 11, he joined his first rap group called the MillYorkers where Wes assumed the name Kid Khadi, part reference to his given first name, Khadimoul and part reference to Kid Cudi, an artist West cites as inspiration.[6]
