National varieties of English

Information icon Hello. In a recent edit to the page Able Archer 83, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use

English-speaking country
, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. Chris Troutman (talk) 17:18, 14 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with File:A meme of Stevie Wonder.jpeg

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:A meme of Stevie Wonder.jpeg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in

48 hours after 20:02, 26 November 2018 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:02, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ram Ranch

Hello ImYourTurboLover,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ram Ranch for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

It is far too early to call an end to his Twitch career. True, his channel is unavailable at this moment, but the news was covered in the article. Many channels have come back from bans and suspensions, so let's be careful. BTW, thanks for adding that catchphrase. Cheers, --SVTCobra (talk) 02:19, 12 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I saw you added

Ahmaud Arbery back to the article. While I tend to agree it meets the criteria, there is still an open discussion on the talk page, no consensus has been reached. Adding it without adequately discussing is more likely to get it removed and stay removed. I think that it is highly possible to have a productive discussion that leads to inclusion, now that the confrontational IP editors have moved on.Jacona (talk) 12:08, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply

Wikipedia and copyright

Control copyright icon Hello ImYourTurboLover! Your additions to

suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism
issues.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Also, I'm unclear as to why you added the flowchart to the article to begin with; how does it improve the article? Thank you. DonIago (talk) 17:06, 9 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

You've made the same two edits on this page that have been reverted. The addition doesn't conform to the section and you haven't explained your changes. If you feel like these edits should stay please proceed to TALK where it's being discussed. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! - Nemov (talk) 15:57, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
