Amblyomma gervaisi is a hard-bodied
Varanus griseus
and many other Varanus species
in southeastern Asia and Asia-minor.[2] They exhibit sexual dimorphism.[3] They can be found in Sri Lanka, India, Yemen, Saudi Arabia.[4] It is a potential vector for Coxiella burnetii.[5]
