Claude Engle

Claude R. Engle III (March 30, 1938 – December 3, 2023) was an American

electrical engineer and internationally known lighting consultant. He designed lighting schemes for many notable structures including the Reichstag and the Louvre.[1]

Life and career

Engle attended

professional engineer. Prior to entering private practice, he worked in New York City
in the design of theatrical and television lighting.

Engle died in

Ottawa, Ontario, Canada on December 3, 2023, at the age of 85.[2]
