Megakaryocyte–erythroid progenitor cells (MEPs), among other

erythroblasts via erythropoiesis.[2][3] Most of the blood cells produced in the bone marrow during hematopoiesis come from megakaryocyte–erythroid progenitor progenitor cells.[4]
