Oast vs Oast House

I have referred to oasts rather than oast houses as that is what the people that worked in them called them. The pickers may have used "oast" or "oast-house" in conversation. Mjroots (talk) 13:59, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

To do

Expand foreign locations - USA has a large hop growing area, as does China. Do they use oasts that would be recognisable as such? Add photos of foreign oasts. Expand coverage of West Midlands oasts - differences from South East England. Mjroots (talk) 19:22, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tidying refs

I have linked to sources using sfn templates — Preceding unsigned comment added by ClemRutter (talkcontribs) 23:35, 10 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto. I however noticed that the pages are often missing, so a tag was added about it at the top of the article. — PaleoNeonate — 03:28, 23 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This article cites its sources but its page references ranges are too broad. Page ranges should be limited to one or two pages when possible. You can help improve this article by introducing citations that are more precise. (May 2017) (Learn how and when to remove this template message)

This is VERY ANNOYING and, in my opinion, unnecessary - please can someone who knows how remove it - thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.27.223.166 (talk) 09:33, 15 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The referencing issues have now been addressed. Mjroots (talk) 06:06, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
