The Lonely Hearts Club Tour was the second concert tour by Welsh singer-songwriter Marina Diamandis, formerly known as Marina and the Diamonds.
Background and development
The UK dates were announced on
vocal cord condition of the artist to dates beginning on 18 June 2012.[3] The tour ran concurrent with Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto Tour for which Marina served as an opening act.[4] On 11 February 2013, Diamandis announced via her website and e-mail, that her European tour was cancelled.[5] On Saturday, 4 May, Diamandis debuted the track "Electra Heart", as an interlude to her final, closing leg of the tour.[6][7]

It is with huge regret that I have had to postpone my UK tour dates due to medical advice.... The good news is that we have managed to reschedule all the dates – except Leeds which is a festival – starting from the 18th June. I promise that these shows will be the best I have ever performed for you, as hopefully I will be 100% healthy! All existing tickets will be valid for the new dates and I also promise my Leeds Diamonds that I will see them in the Autumn.
